A skin disorder called Aerosis, or Layman’s Mark as it has come to be known colloquially, is believed by many to be caused by the air pollution.

Although not contagious, the disease is thought to be inheritable and newborn babies soon develop the “Mark” after birth.

Although it has not been proven to have any negative effects on the infected individuals, it has become a social stigma.
